A horse sculpture titled "Deux Chevaux" by the Vietnamese-born French artist Lebadang (1921-2015). Two intertwined horses mirror each other with their tails high in the air and their necks lowered towards the ground. This work is made of resin and has been painted to look like patinated metal. The work is signed near the face of one of the horses.
Born in Vietnam, Lebadang moved to France in 1939 to study at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Toulouse, France. In 1966, he did his first one-man exhibition in the United States at the Cincinnati Art Museum.
