The finishing … moreOur shop has lightly restored this piece and refinished the top in a hand-rubbed European hard wax finish. The finishing product we use is plant-based and formulated for flooring, furniture, and cabinetry. It provides a durable, water-resistant finish, all while accentuating the natural look and feel of the wood. Notice how the light dances off the dramatically figured wood grain and how the tone of the wood appears to change slightly depending on the angle at which it is viewed! While this desk has been restored, some faint remnant surface imperfections commensurate with age may be visible. Some areas of slight fading and remnant surface scratching may be present. Overall, this piece is in great restored vintage condition and ready for another 50+ years of love! less

We are proud to offer this iconic teak flip-top partners desk by Jens Quistgaaard for Løvig Design. Featuring an incredible teak desktop with front-facing drawers and a brass-hinged flip-top cubby. The desk casement rests upon a minimalist solid teak base and features 4 interior drawers with exposed open storage on the back. The flip-down cubby converts this piece into a wonderful partner's desk when lowered.
