Every morning the mama raven would "drop off" the baby near our water bowl that was set out for the birds. Then in the afternoon they would fly off together. I decided to set out a watermelon for the little guy. He was so fun to watch picking at the juicy fruit and hiding pieces, and then eating them. It seemed so appropriate since the mountain range where we live is the Sandia Mountains. This piece is on a sturdy cradled wood panel with the sides painted matte black and comes ready to hang. It is fun and has a folk art quality about it, even though I am a trained artist, that is a favorite style for me. I am LWren Walraven, the artist. less
