It is newly rewired with a brown silk cord to operate in the US. Sometimes referred to as a surveyor floor lamp, this piece is painted wood and brass, both of which have an amazing patina. The paint is red and white, giving it an all American / old American rustic charm. The tripod lamp comes with the new off white hemp drum shade shown in the photos. Its adjustable height and easily adjustable legs allow for it to really sit anywhere you want it, adding height or depth. less
