Description: A collection of Chinese chests from the late 19th and 20th century includes a vermillion lacquered elmwood chest on stand … more A collection of Chinese chests from the late 19th and 20th century includes a vermillion lacquered elmwood chest on stand (at bottom), atop that a cedar wood chest in beetle red lacquer; and above: a pair of 19th century lacquered leather (vellum) linen chests of subtly varied hue.
