The black leather clad cushions are designed almost like a catcher’s mitt, resting in the sling. The sling/cushion combo cradles the body like a ball in a glove. The cantilever bentwood frame creates suspension, giving the chair some bounce. This is another nod to comfort. This chair comes complete with the ottoman pictured. Both the chair and ottoman are in very good condition. The ottoman actually a custom creation we made to compliment the chair. The ottoman sports new leather and is supported by a rosewood base that matches the chair perfectly. The leather on ottoman however has a duller sheen than the chair. Ready for many more decades of proud ownership. We're not certain of the maker, but it's circa late 1970's - early 1980's.
