This lovely vase is made in the style of Bitossi, after their Seta style pottery line. It is a classic mid century style with the textural sgraffito (scratched design in the surface) in an ivory background glaze with gleaming gold bands. Wear is commensurate with age, and a few small chips are shown in the pictures. We do not think it affects the style and quality of this great piece!
Ink stamp on the bottom "Made in Italy" most likely means this is not a true Bitossi piece, but made in the style of by another mid century Italian ceramicist.
