These large thick doors were used … Read more A pair of antique early 1900s Chinese elm courtyard doors with original iron hardware. These large thick doors were used as the front compound security gate in old city neighborhoods as well as rural areas. Made of old weathered elm with slight gaps between the planks they are secured with decorative iron strapping. The doors have a wonderful aged and rusted patina. With the wooden latches removed from the back, these would be great for sliders or garden gates, or as a headboard or wall mounted decorative panel. The doors alone are 84.5" tall. The hinge pins top & bottom add another 4" to the height... 2.5" for the top and 1.5" for the bottom. See less
