- Antique Wabi Sabi Vase in Wood, Europe 1900s. This wonderful antique Wabi Sabi vase was made completely in wood. It … more Antique Wabi Sabi Vase in Wood, Europe 1900s. This wonderful antique Wabi Sabi vase was made completely in wood. It has a basic rounded shape, with an outwards pointing bottle neck. The thin edge of the neck is a subtle detail, as well as several decorative rings on the surface of the vase. Two copper nails can be seen in the top part, used as a repair method many decades ago. The vase also shows a repaired crack, a sign of age that shows the unforgiving test of time. Combined with the overall patina, it emphasizes the perfect imperfect character of this authentic vase. To be used as decoration, with or without a few twigs or dried flowers it looks just wonderful. less
