The top portion can be removed. 2 drawers on left, keyboard drawer in center, deep drawer on right for hanging files. It has a feminine feel & the details (molding & beadboard back) are reminiscent of built-in cabinetry. I moved office to a different room & purchased a smaller desk so I'm no longer using this. The style was carried by Ballard for years but has been discontinued. I believe it was called Verona. Compare price to the current desks they offer online. See less

(See new photos) & I'm sure someone with a little more skill than I have could improve even more. This was not a major repair to include sanding. I touched up the small area with furniture repair kit & wiped with tack cloth. Other than that the piece looks practically new. It's gorgeous piece & I'm so sorry to part with it even thought it's not currently being utilized, but I'm downsizing. less
