There are many Wedgwood collectors who specialize in cups and saucers. One could fill a mansion with the vast variety of cups and saucers which Wedgwood produced in its numerous lines and colors over two and a half centuries. This large Jasper dip tea cup and saucer in the Bute shape is what we would now call a breakfast cup. It is in the dark "Portland Blue", and is decorated with the Processional, Coriolanus and Nike figural groups in white sprigging. It is late nineteenth century and has no cracks or chips.
