The antique white painted finish is captivating in this attractive large chest of four drawers resting on curved cabriole feet.
While the paint is newer and professionally applied, it complements the age, rococo style and serpentine curves of this chest that dates back to the early 1800's.
The layered painted finish has been distressed, creating aged character while revealing the natural wood below.
Each drawer had two brass pulls making them easy to open and use. This strong and elegant dresser is made of oak (front) and pine (drawers) which was a typical way to craft these large chests.
Restored, strong, stable and ready for use. All wear, age related cracks or separation (including drawer bottoms) is commensurate with age and does not impact the beauty nor function of this large chest.
