Description: Ceramic Umbrella Vase in Relief with Decorated Marina circa 1950 of particular workmanship: the vase has two floral bands in … more Ceramic Umbrella Vase in Relief with Decorated Marina circa 1950 of particular workmanship: the vase has two floral bands in shades of turquoise, an upper and a lower one with the foliage in relief and graffiti placed on a rough ocher background. These two horizontal bands are connected to each other by two vertical bands with the same decoration, thus outlining two tableaux on the two sides of the vase which contain two seascapes with graffitied waves and a two-masted sailing ship. The clouds in the sky are in relief giving a particular depth to the decoration. The base and neck are decorated in green. In excellent condition, written D80 Perugia 52 under the base. less
