This elegant Louis Vuitton features the very sought after checkers pattern.In some of the checkers, it is written "L.Vuitton marque de fabrique déposée". It also features silver steel trim, matching silver steel side handles marked Louis Vuitton as well as a solid brass stamped Louis Vuitton lock. A customized hand painted motive as well as a number 5 on its sides and on its top add a very unique style to this elegant Vuitton trunk.
Its interior is all original and its quilting have been relined a while ago .It still has kept its original Louis Vuitton label showing its serial number and mentioning its Louis Vuitton's Paris and London locations.
Thanks to its size, this beautiful Louis Vuitton steamer trunk could turn to a remarkable console, a coffee table, a side table to put behind a sofa or a magnificent blanket chest in all elegant interiors.
It is in very good condition considering its period. Please keep in mind that it is around 130 years old and has certainly traveled a lot. This piece has an attribution mark,
