"Floral Narratives" is a delicate watercolor painting that seamlessly blends lilies' vibrant, living beauty with well-loved books. This painting was inspired by the contemplative sight of a stray sunbeam illuminating lilies. Just as lilies unfold their petals to the warmth of the sun, so too do readers open their minds through the pages of each book.
In choosing watercolor as my medium, I aimed to capture the transient qualities of light. Watercolor allows for fluidity and softness that perfectly complements the gentle diffusion of light across the subjects.
