Hand painted "famille verte" vintage Limoges porcelain lidded ginger jar, made in France.
Limoges is known for its bright white colored porcelain and intricate hand-painted decorations such as this uniquely colorful bird of paradise and plum blossom branch motif. The domed lid shows alternating green stripe and floral border.
Hallmark: Chamart France, Limoges "Peint a la mein."
