This early 20th century, handwoven antique Persian Serab rug features a camel-colored field imbued with a stretched midnight blue tribal medallion and four complementary ivory cornices. A beautifully drawn Sub-geometric border surrounds the entirety of the piece. This rug is woven on a wool foundation and has a soft, pliable handle, typical of the earlier Serab rugs. The articulation of the motifs is excellent and this rug features beautiful color quality, including red, rust, sea foam green, and blue. less
