Direct from England, a classic English pegged joint stool, one of our most requested antiques! These stools or benches are perfect little occasional pieces, whether at the end of a sofa, beside a chair, in a powder room, or on top of a large farm table for display purposes/tablescaping!
This fabulous stool/table has a wide paneled apron with open carved scroll lower trim on all sides. The thick splayed legs have bulbous centers, large block joints and a wide grooved stretcher. Large turned ball feet perfectly compliment the bulbous legs!
Solid oak, handmade, with pegged joints, by craftsmen of the period, circa1850.
Measurements: 19.75” ht. x 23.5” x 16”.
