"Gunnar Donald Anderson, age 95 of Sonoma CA passed away on April 26, 2022. Gunnar was born in 1927 in Berkeley, California. He served his country as a member of the United States Coast Guard from 1945 to 1946. He studied at the California School of Fine Arts with Clifford Still and the Art Center College of Design with Lorser Feitelson. Gunnar enjoyed a freelancecareer specializing in portraits of children in oil. He also painted beautiful landscapes and WWI airplanes. The work of Gunnar Anderson is held in numerous collections nationwide." less
