Colette Biquand went through the Martin-Talboutier workshop of the Central Union of Decorative Arts in 1964-65 and followed summer courses at the Château de Ratilly in Yonne in 1965 and 1966. She began to practicing ceramics professionally from 1967 and his first workshop was set up in Beauvaisis. She subsequently settled in Colméry in 1981 until the end of her life. Colette Biquand was a member of the association of creative potters from Puisaye based at the Couvent in Treigny. There she met many other ceramic artists such as Robert Deblander, Jean Michel Doix, Antoine De Vinck and many others.
