The chair was designed by the famous Danish designer Børge Mogensen in 1947 and is a timeless piece of furniture that can easily be combined with both the Mogensen dining table and other modern tables of different cuts! Mogensen is known for his minimalistic and innovative design classics that are still as relevant today, and which really withstand both the eye's consideration and the user's wear and tear over time. His design language is easily recognisable, characterized by solid craftsmanship and carefully selected material choices of the highest quality. The chair is made of solid beech which provides a stable and durable construction, and the seat is hand-braided in natural colored paper cord. This string has been treated with an environmentally friendly soap and wax, and gives the seat not only a beautiful and unique look, but also provides a high degree of resistance to stains and dirt.

The legs of the chair are connected all around, which provides extremely good stability.
