The rectangular plate with conforming foliate surround and frame lie beneath a molded swan's neck pediment that features two carved phoenix facing each other and holding delicate bellflowers in their mouths. An acanthus leaf cluster adorns the top crown with the bellflower and acanthus leaf motif being repeated throughout. A cherub head is intricately carved into the shaped and scrolling relief base. Gorgeous gilt finish and original glass.
