A Grange expanding dining room table with six chairs, handcrafted in France. An innovative design and extension mechanism allows the top to slide apart at the narrow width (length-wise) revealing a pair of hidden leaves that butterfly independently to expand the dining surface from a standard oval to oversized. The leaves also have a drop down apron to complete the border on the oversized version. The two sides of the table are secured with a brass latch on each end in the standard configuration.
Grange is known for their high quality furniture since 1904. The simplicity of design allows this table to blend with different decor styles. The table typically will be used in its standard oval configuration. When needed, you will be able to accommodate the occasional larger group by transforming to the oversize version directly from the table due to its unique design. This ability does not require you to sacrifice storage space in other areas of your home to hold extension leaves that often come with other sets that are only periodically used.
Included are 4 side chairs and 2 chairs with arm rests. The seats pads have designer fabric over ample padding. If desired, the pads can easily be modified with your choice of fabric covering to match your style and color pallette.
