The texture in the benchtop has been completely hand carved, then joined onto smoothly shaped legs, providing a textural difference that’s not only appealing to the eye but also to the touch.

The legs have been designed with an appealing open block style to let the benchtop rest. The legs are also stained with English Chestnut which gives an amazing contrast between the top and legs.

Another shadow line runs along the sides and front of the benchtop, the gilded copper foil creates yet another texture. The copper color accents the lightness of the wood while also giving a contrasting divide between the benchtop and the hand carved sides.

The bench also adds and exciting storage/shoe rack made with 6 copper pipes that match the copper leaf inlays in the benchtop. These pipes add a modern taste, but also blend well with the rest of the piece.
