Presenting a Colombian emerald stack ring like none you will ever see again. A stunning marriage of natures miraculous gifts and human artistry. Set with two half moon cut natural emeralds that stack on top of each other. This ring forms a celestial half moon duo reminiscent of the full moon's enchanting glow. Together, they weave a tale of timeless beauty and sophistication, worthy of admiration.
The focus, a 1.25 carat Vivid Green Colombian emerald. Distinguished by GRS labs as displaying a seldom occurring growth phenomenon known as the "butterfly wing effect", otherwise described as "Mariposa", meaning butterfly in Spanish. Additionally earning praise by the lab for its crystal rich dark green color known as "Muzo Green" in the trade. Its impressive literature is relayed below*. Insignificant oil treatment.
Paired with its counterpart, impressive in its own right, a 1.42-carat half-moon cut emerald of Colombian origin. Also achieving a Vivid Green color grade by GRS labs and insignificant oil treatment.
This ring set bears a total gram weight of 8.47 grams, total emerald weight of 2.67 carats, and a total diamond weight of 2.16 carats. Ring size 7 (adjustable). The diamonds are superbly white, with 2 matching extra long baguette cuts half bezel set, and a round cut diamond halo and ring shank.

This vividly saturated emerald of 1.25 ct is reminiscent in hue of the varieties displaying the legendary colors found in the world renowned Muzo mines. They are formally described as “Muzo Green” (*) and commonly known in the trade as “Old Mine” emeralds.
This particular emerald displays an additional microscopic velvety appearance caused by a rare growth phenomenon described in the literature as “butterfly-wing effect”.
These stones are given the designation GRS-type “Mariposa”, referring to the Spanish word for butterfly. less
