"Professor Monserrat S. Torrens - Born on November 3, 1933, she is university graduated professor of fine arts. Besides her art teaching profession, she paints and participates in group exhibitions as well as on her own shows. She exhibited at the well known "Salon de Otono" in Palma de Majorca. In 1970 was honored at "Certamen National de Pintura" in Barcelona, Spain. Traditional in style, veristic in expression, her paintings are well accepted by both public and art critics. Torrens travelled and painted throughout Europe so that her paintings are to be found in art galleries of Paris as well as the ones of Vienna and Munchen.
