In the best of folk art traditions, these cuties were likely hand cut and painted of wood, and each features a matching dog who looks UTTERLY unconvinced at a newcomers intrusion on his home! This listing is for both - one to keep, one to give! One has slightly more chipping and damage to the wooden wedge back, with some early fibers tucked in to keep the wood block steady (though it is still a touch loose). This one does not sit as straight up and occasionally tilts over. The other is steady and sturdy. Each measures 7" tall, 4" wide, and 3.5" deep. Overall patina and paint chipping, each presents beautifully, and are eager to find their next home after nearly 100 years of holding open doors! See less
