Spring Has Sprung on the Farm - Abstracted Landscape in Oil on Masonite
Abstract farm with seeds sprouting in a bold abstract expressionist painting by San Francisco, California artist Eleanor Perry (American, 1928-2014). The seeds and foreground are shown close-up, as if a cross section has been taken of the ground. There is a red barn at the horizon, creating a contrasting sense of scale.
Signed "E. Perry" and dated "70" lower left.
Unframed.
Board size: 22"H x 28"W.
Eleanor was a member and exhibited at the California Art Club in 1955.
