Satin Arabescato square marble top coffee table on a polished chrome base originally designed by Florence Knoll in 1954 and produced by Knoll Studio ever since. This table is a late 1990s edition. Maintains “made in Italy” Knoll label under marble and chrome is inscribed Knoll Studio.
As a pioneer of the Knoll Planning Unit, Florence Knoll created what she modestly referred to as the “fill-in pieces that no one else wants to do.” Her Square Coffee Table (1954) has the simple architectural lines and unparalleled construction of all modern classics. It’s topped with glass or solid marble and stands on a polished chrome base. less
