This is a cut crystal ships decanter marked Towle in the Riviera pattern from 1982. The decanter is spotlessly clean, comes with the matching stopper and the cuts are sharp and symmetrical with no missed or odd cuts. It is marked Towle as shown.
The decanter measures 7.50 inches across the base and it is 8.75 inches to the rim. It is 11.00 inches to the top of the stopper. Weight is almost five pounds.
The Riviera pattern is cut into boxes on the base with the cuts extending up to the start of the neck. The neck is flat cut. There is some scuffing inside the neck from the stopper. It is a very distinctive design and the stopper fits tightly.
There are no chips, cracks, or other damage.
