These monkeys are very rare and so unusual...
Crafted of terra cotta and glazed in a rich green and brown which adds dimension and drama to their very expressive faces. The figures are lively and realistic in form with detailed facial expressions and poses that will make you do a double take. Upon first glance you may think of the classic phrase "Hear no Evil. See no Evil. Speak no Evil." Then on closer look you must almost laugh out loud as they seem to express "Hear Everything! See Everything! Speak Everything!" What a twist!

We've never come across another set! Truly one of a kind. These enormous sculptures would add a touch of whimsy and charm to any space! Suitable for indoors or outdoors. A wonderful gift for any lover of nature and animals!

Origin is likely Italy but we are not 100% certain.

Overall condition is very, very good.
You can see where one monkey was repaired a long time ago. The wear is consistent with their 70+ year age and use and does not detract from their ability to brighten any space.
