This sofa was upholstered with a very fine brocade style damask cut out velvet fabric upholstery in the Venetian Moorish Fortuny and Luigi Bevilacquat style.
After a mid-19th century antique velvet featuring a mihrab niche and Moorish arches.
This sofa exudes a stylish upholstery luxurious and bold combination, that reflect the Colonial taste of Middle Eastern taste for Turkish and Ottoman furniture, Islamic Moorish style of the 1930s.
Handcrafted in the US.
