The pattern is called "Marjolaine" … more This is a beautiful serving plate/handled cake platter, made by Charles Field Haviland, Limoges, France. The pattern is called "Marjolaine" and it was in production from 1983 to 2013. Tpday this pattern is rare to find.

The plate features a beautiful floral center in blue-ish green leaves with blue, pink, mauve and yellow flowers. The plate has cobalt blue scrolls and embellishments and more insets of flowers in little sections around the rim. Around the rim and handle is wide bands of gold trim - the cobalt blue and gold make this plate really dramatic and pretty!

The back of the plate has some maker marks:
In a orange circle in orange lettering; CH Field Haviland - Limoges"
Limoges France
In a fancy orange crest: "Label de Qualite"
In blue lettering - the name of the plate or pattern: "Marjolaine"
in black letter: filets "faits main" less
