Large Vintage Cast Ironware Hibachi "Oven" From Japan, purchased at Sunday Shine Sale.
The hibachi is a traditional Japanese heating device (circa 1890 - 1910). It consists of an open-topped cast iron container designed to hold burning charcoal for cooking. Also included in a whisk for cleaning.
