Memphis style chair. Called the Bola chair it was an award winning design by Ron Kemnitzer in 1988. [ set 4 ]
"Bola" chairs, dining height, in excellent condition designed by Ron Kemnitzer in 1988 for Fixtures Furniture Company done in metal, yellow polycarbonate and plastic arm rests and ball feet. Manufactured/purchased in 1990s. The "Bola" seating design won Kemnitzer an Institute of Business Design (IBD) gold award.
This is a unusual fine, a set of matching arm chairs in very fine condition, no damage on seat/backs, scuffs on frames
have been retouched , scuffs commensurate with age and usage.

THERMOPLASTIC SEAT & BACK: Textured thermoplastic.
UPHOLSTERED SEAT & BACK: Seat: Upholstered 2" urethane foam over contoured molded plywood. Back: Upholstered 1" urethane foam over contoured molded plywood. 1/4" urethane foam on back cover.
FRAME: 1” x 16 gauge steel tube.
ARMS: Epoxy finish to match frame with molded plastic inserts. Arm inserts will match seat and back color for thermoplastic models. Chairs specified with mirror will have charcoal arms with specified inserts.
GLIDES: Molded nylon ball (standard) or formal glide option
END CAPS: Molded nylon; color will coordinate with frame finish
STACKING
Chairs are uniquely "stackable" for easy storage as required.
