This mid 19th century grandfather tall case clock is signed by the maker John Watt Irvine on its dial face. It features book matched & inlay mahogany details with hand painted maidens surrounding its dial. With fluted columns flanking the face and adorned with brass mounts

In good condition showing some typical age appropriate wear from normal use. Its currently not running though the works look to have been cleaned and the weights restrung.

The maiden portion of the dial decoration outside of the numbers has been repainted or restored and two of the posts holding the dial face in place are missing

There is an old repaired crack on the left hand side of its broken arch top
