This piece separates into two halves for easy transport. The later baize writing surface is in good condition, and all drawers slide freely.

In good antique condition, it shows expected signs of age, including historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs, and alterations. There are some historic (now extinct) woodworm holes that have been treated, along with some losses and veneer imperfections.
