This beautiful vintage Frederick Cooper table lamp features a hand painted floral and leaf pattern with intricate chinoiserie details, all painted on a Ginger jar shaped ceramic lamp body.
The paint finish is particularly special on this lamp as it features multiple colors and raised applications of paint adding texture to the finish. There are also areas of iridescence and shimmer to the finish!
This lamp is high end, made in Chicago, USA. Painted by hand. Produced circa 1960-70’s.
The shade is bell shaped and is the original shade for this lamp. It’s made of silk and is off white in color.
It also includes the original brass finial which features a chinoiserie patterned motif.
The base of the lamp is dark wood and has a rimmed detail. It is finish with a ring of brass. The brass shows vintage age and some wear/patina.
The lamp is corded electric and has a switch control style, with a white light color and E26 bulb shape code.
This is a large stately lamp and the shade measures 20 inches wide in 17 inches front to back
The body of the lamp has a diameter of 10 inches and the lamp has a total height of 34 inches.
The lamp comes with a shade included and has a bell shape. Please note the original lining of the silk lamp shade has been removed.
