A large handforged cattle bell from the Alps region of Switzerland, manufactured around 1950. The bell comes with its original brown leather strap with buckle and colorful wool decoration. These bells are used to locate cattles in the pasture. Cattles wear them around their neck so owners can easily find them in the Alpine landscape. Excellent condition with patinated finish. This authentic vintage piece is a great interior decoration and brings the Swiss countryside into your home.
