The outer rim is trimmed in gold. The detail is exquisite and the colors are still vibrant with no loss or wear to the design. A wonderful, timeless set!

Five of the plates are in excellent condition with no damage. One has a small chip on the rim (see photo) and it was touched up at some point.

The plates are 8 1/2" in diameter. Each plate is marked on the reverse Haviland over France (Mark H) and used between in 1888 - 1896.
