Antique Persian Sultanabad Rug with All Over Sub Geometric Design On Ivory Field.
Keivan Woven Arts / Rug/ 11-90110, country of origin / type: Iran / Sultanabad, circa 1880.
This splendid antique Sultanabad Ziegler rug was handwoven during the later half of the 19th Century and bears a sophisticated all-over sub-geometric design. The Ivory field is surrounded by light orange border and blue guard borders. Other colors include cream, brown, green, blue, rust, orange and taupe.
