Jean-claude silbermann (1935) the young woman and the monster, 1964 original ink drawing signed lower right on thick paper 25 x 16.5 cm information: "sign for where lightning will strike" drawing on tracing paper, preparatory to the works in the exhibition "enseignes sournoises" in 1964 at the mona lisa gallery. Silbermann is an artist of the late surrealist movement, close to andré breton. Provenance: library "paul destribats library of the avant-garde, christie's sale november 2022 very good condition, red paint stain in the margin. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
