Description: An absolutely magnificent pair of antique Swedish satin birch armchairs. They are in the Regency/William IV style, they were recently … more An absolutely magnificent pair of antique Swedish satin birch armchairs. They are in the Regency/William IV style, they were recently imported from Sweden and date from around the 1900-1910 period.

They are of the utmost quality and have an incredibly beautiful design, they are one of the finest pairs we have come across. They are generous in proportions and very comfortable, with well sprung seats. The satin birch frames scroll beautifully on the arm rests and back rests, with fine carving, gorgeous silky grain patterns and wonderful colour tones.

We have had them re-polished to a very high standard, and they have been newly upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. The condition is superb throughout.
