The F555 wasn’t that succesful for Artifort back in the days, hence the short production time and the reason that there is little to no exposure for this model to date. However because of this the design has become rare. And therefore desirable among worldwide enthousiasts. The chair just oozes modernism; long thin legs produced out of nickel that hold a fully integrated top part whereby seat and backrest are connected through one large metal rod. Although it looks like one piece, it’s actually 2 pieces that are positioned very closely towards each other. Therefore, the seating comfort is simply magnificent.
