By LOUIS SUE AND ANDRE MARE.
This rare Art Deco oval mirror made by Sue and Mare (Louis Sue, 1875-1968, and Andre Mare, 1887-1932) has a frame of hand-carved gilt wood. The upper section has a floral carving with Golden gilding that extends with ribbed horns of abundance. The original mirror glass is still intact with minor foxing. We are the rare source that has specialized exclusively in French Art Deco for over three decades, since 1991 with restoration, repair and plaiting for any lighting period located in Long Island City, N.Y.
