These were made during the Victorian Aesthetic Movement circa 1880's in Stoke on Trent, England. Marked "A.F. & Co, Foley, Staffordshire." Beautiful transferware ironstone relish tray and 3 small ashtrays with designs in a sienna brown on an antique white background. A lovely addition to your set or for serving at special dinners for Thanksgiving and Christmas. These are in good condition, no chips or cracks, very clean, the usual occasional speckle that is found in Foley glaze. The relish tray and one of the ashtrays have some light brown areas, please see photos. Relish tray measures approx. 5" x 8.5" and the ashtrays measure 4" x 4".
