This exquisite antique tole table lamp features a beautifully crafted figurative design, showcasing a porcelain young lady and her suitor, both elegantly attired in 18th-century clothing.
The gentleman is dressed in a rich maroon frock coat that drapes over a long white shirt embellished with delicate gold polka dots and a crisp white cravat, creating a striking contrast with his royal blue breeches. He gestures gracefully, bending his right arm as if preparing to bow, while his left hand cradles a stylish black tricorn hat against his body. His tousled brown hair frames his youthful face and is neatly tied back in a ponytail, accented by a matching red ribbon.
The young lady looks stunning in her elegant yellow gown, adorned with intricate blue and white lace trim that opens to reveal a black stomacher and a white petticoat, beautifully decorated with floral patterns in blue, purple, and red. The gown's hem is crafted from pleated pink fabric, edged with blue lace that forms delicate boughs around her dress.
With a flirtatious demeanor, she fans herself with a white fan highlighted with gold accents, lifting the left side of her gown as if preparing to curtsy.
