This beautiful 18k gold crown features a large emerald cut synthetic sapphire in a vibrant shade of pink. The crown has lovely granulation and twisted wirework, giving it a regal quality, and the gold has a rosy hue that compliments the sparkling pink stone. The crown has a nice, substantial size and presence when worn on a chain. A great feminine piece that will make you feel like a queen!
The synthetic pink sapphire measures 9.5 x 12.25 mm and weighs 5.5 of a carat. It is emerald cut and its setting has an open back that allows the pendant’s beautiful gold wirework to shine through the facets of the stone.
The pendant measures 3/4 x 5/8” and weighs 5.8 grams. The bail measures 7.5 x 9.8 mm. This piece was found on a recent trip to Madrid. It is unmarked, but we believe it was made in Spain. It acid tests as 18k gold.
