Description: Set of 6 Chinese dining chairs. Chairs have yoked backs that remind us of the winged hats worn by government … more Set of 6 Chinese dining chairs. Chairs have yoked backs that remind us of the winged hats worn by government officials during the Ming era. The cane in the seat is over a solid piece of wood. All of the cane is in great condition. There is a repaired crack as can be seen in the next to the last photo. Chairs show typical mortise and tenon construction as you expect to see. I believe the finish is the original finish. Chairs have a nice light brown natural color. These chairs would also work well with Mid Century modern furniture due to their simple elegance of design. Chairs stand 46 1/2" tall and are 23 1/2" wide at the crest rail. Chairs are 20" deep. The seat height is a little high in my opinion at 21". less
