Hand signed in pencil on the bottom right with an annotation of 52/250 on the bottom left. Circa 1970s. Curving geometric shapes in shades of orange create a optical illusion of dimension and space. The artist who worked in both 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional mediums creates a sculptural effect in his paintings and prints. He is best known for his Floor Kite Series, which this type of movement and wave effect is often explored in artist's oeuvre. The artist’s works are held in private and public collections throughout the globe, including at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York City, the Galerie Vincy in Paris, the Gallerie Interarte in Milan and the Galerie Wentzel in Cologne, Germany. From a private collection.
